Utility, Landscaping/Construction, and Wastewater Management System Contractors

Shamgar Inc is a family buisness with three divisions: Utilities, Landscaping/Construction, and Wastewater Management Systems. Our company was founded by Lewis New in 1965 as Custom Lawn Sprinkler Systems. We installed irrigation systems from Savannah to all over South Ga. These jobs ranged from Residential Systems to Golf Courses, Farms, Commercial and Industrial. The industrial market took us as far as Texas and Virginia. In the 1970's, Lewis expanded our company to include Utility work. We started with small utility projects and worked into large municiple and goverment projects. In the 90's, Russ New, Lewis New's son expanded the irrigation buisiness to include landscaping and hardscapes and in the 2000's Onsite Wastewater Management Systems were incorporated to service the home owner and buisiness without sanitary sewer service.
